Celebrate with the kids on Thursday, November 20th as the Child Nutrition Department hosts a delicious Thanksgiving Dinner! Enjoy turkey, ham, dressing, sides, and more. Plate lunches are $5 and include a drink. Don't forget to let your student's teacher know if you'll be joining. See you there!

The Mississippi Department of Education has released its annual accountability results, and the Vicksburg Warren School District is proud to once again earn a solid “B” rating. This accomplishment reflects the hard work of our students, teachers, parents, administrators, and community partners.
Superintendent Dr. Tori Holloway shared, “This success reflects the strength of our entire community. Together, we will keep growing and building opportunities for every student’s future.”

Join us for Family Literacy Night on September 9 at the City Auditorium! Families with Pre-K–3rd grade students will enjoy mighty munchies, a welcome from Dr. Holloway, and remarks from Mayor Thompson, plus tips from the MS Dept. of Education on supporting reading at home. A Progress Report Night will be held on September 3rd at 5:30pm for Dana Road Elementary. Parents will have the opportunity to get detailed information regarding upcoming events, receive their child's progress report, and sign up for our PTO.
NEWS YOU CAN USE- If you know of any juniors and seniors interested in taking a dual credit night class, please have them scan the QR code so that we will be aware.
A mandatory parent meeting will be held on Thursday, August 14th at 5:30pm for all third grade students attending Dana Road Elementary.
