Vicksburg Intermediate Students Earn Perfect Scores on Spring 2025 MAAP Assessments

Vicksburg, Miss. – Vicksburg Intermediate School (VIS) is celebrating outstanding academic achievement as several students earned perfect scores on the Spring 2025 Mississippi Academic Assessment Program (MAAP) tests. These students demonstrated exceptional mastery in English Language Arts (ELA) and Math, representing the highest level of academic excellence in the state.

The following students achieved perfect scores:

Grade 3 (Math – 399)
Jaylen Eggleston, Jayda Ford, Angel Harris, Everleigh Love, Taylor McDaniel, Kaylee Murphy, Billy Reynolds, and Elijah Smith

Grade 4 (Math – 499)
Khloe Berry, Khare Howard, Armaud Marley, Aubrey Lewis, and Carlton Wilson

Grade 4 (ELA – 499)
Len Cer, Khalil Jenkins, Aubrey Lewis, and Carlton Wilson

Grade 5 (ELA – 599)
Zephaniah Odom and Kelsey Thigpen

VIS Principal Lakesha Batty praised the students and teachers for their hard work and commitment to excellence.
