Meals will be available for pick up for pre-registered youth ages 0 - 18 Vicksburg Warren School District (VWSD) is happy to announce that it will again offer FREE meals (breakfast and lunch) this summer to pre-registered children ages 0 to 18 in Warren County. As an open site, meals will be available for pick up each Monday through Friday beginning Monday, June 2, 2025 through Friday, June 27, 2025 for all children in the community.

Breakfast service hours will be from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. each day. Note: Starting this year, VWSD will be resuming regular operations as an open site for meal pick up only at any of the VWSD locations listed below. The bus delivery of summer meals to the community has been discontinued for the summer feeding program.

Children must be present (in person) to receive meals. The meals will be packaged for grab-and-go take out. However, students are permitted to eat onsite with their adult’s supervision if desired.

No meals will be provided without pre-registering first. Please submit only one (1) registration form per household and include the names and ages of all children for whom you are requesting meals.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation.
