The festivities kicked off with several community members taking the time to read to students at every grade level. Some schools allowed students to dress as their favorite book characters, and they paraded around the school grounds, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm for reading through their costumes. As the week came to a close, students departed with a renewed enthusiasm for reading, armed with new books and memories that will inspire them to continue exploring the endless possibilities found within the pages of a book.
