Vicksburg High School held Senior Night at the Vicksburg Memorial Stadium Thursday, October 2, 2023. VHS showcased their senior members of the Football team, Cheerleading Squad, Gator Girl Dance Squad, Band, and Vicksburg Army JROTC. More than fifty scholars were recognized during the pregame in front of family, friends, and community members.
Stacey Vaughn, Assistant Principal of Health and Human Services Academy, said, “ We are very proud of the senior class this year.” She referred to the students as a wonderful group that are going to go out into the world and make us all very proud.
Additionally, Kadajai Allen, Cheerleader Co-Captain exclaimed, “senior night was a very emotional and memorable moment. It was overall a fun night because my family was there, and I was able to experience it with my team.” Allen doesn't plan to stop. Upon graduation, Allen plans to attend Alcorn State University to major in Nursing and become an Alcorn State University cheerleader.
