Vicksburg Junior High School

VJHS resurrected field day for the first time is several years. The VJHS stadium was undergoing maintenance, but that did not stop the fun. Festivities were moved into the gym where students and teachers participated in traditional favorites such as tug of war, egg and spoon race, and balloon pop. Coach Hardiman grilled hamburgers and hot dogs for the students and teachers were treated to BBQ plates with all the trimmings to wrap up teacher appreciation week. Students and teachers also enjoyed shaved Italian Ice and other delicious treats as several basketball games were played. Everyone agreed that the VJHS Field Day was an outstanding success, and ideas are already being developed for Field Day 2026.
