The Vicksburg Warren School District will host the Red Carpet Bowl on Friday, Sept. 18, when Warren Central and Vicksburg High meet in the district's annual game. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. at Vicksburg High School, 3701 Drummond St.
All tickets must be purchased through GoFan at gofan.co. Fans should search for the school to find the game.
Gates open at 5 p.m., and fans are encouraged to arrive early because a large crowd is expected.
Free Shuttle Service
The district will offer free shuttle service to help with parking. Fans can park at the Ameristar Casino lot on Washington Street, next to the Ameristar marquee sign, where two air-conditioned school buses (Bus 23-09 and Bus 21-18) will run from 5 p.m. until the end of the game. Riders will be dropped off on whichever side of the stadium they plan to sit. District policies apply on the buses, meaning no drinks, weapons or tobacco products. Parking in the lot is at the vehicle owner's own risk.
Game Day Protocols
Fans should review the district's Athletic Event Protocols before arriving. The Clear Bag Policy will be in effect: https://www.vwsd.org/page/clear-bag-policy.
Entry will be available on both sides of the stadium, and fans are asked to enter on the side where they plan to sit. No one will be allowed to cross from one side to the other during the game.
A concession stand will be open on the home side.
