Redwood Elementary gathered today for its annual Leadership Assembly, highlighting the hard work and accomplishments of its students as they prepare for the upcoming state test.
Head Principal Crystal Hood, in her first year leading Redwood, shared her pride in both the past and present efforts of the school community.
“I feel like the students have done an excellent job in previous years before I came,” Hood said. “We just want to continue to build off the successes that they’ve already had and continue to make Redwood a great place to be.”
She also offered words of encouragement to recognize students’ dedication throughout the start of the school year. “Congratulations to all of the students for their hard work and achievements in August. We’re proud of their dedication and their success, and we hope that they continue to shine.”
The assembly not only celebrated academic progress but also set the tone for a year of continued growth, perseverance, and school pride at Redwood Elementary.
