The Vicksburg-Warren Career Technical Center is proudly celebrating outstanding student achievements from the SkillsUSA 2026 Region 4 Competition, highlighting the talent, preparation, and professionalism of students representing the center, district, and community. Janiegha Thomas earned first place in Job Interview, securing advancement to the upcoming State SkillsUSA Competition. Her accomplishment reflects strong communication skills, confidence, and real-world career readiness developed through Career and Technical Education. In addition, the center’s Quiz Bowl team achieved an impressive second-place finish. Team members include Leandrew Drake, Ka’ryn Henderson, Joi Brown, Armond Trevillion Jr., and Reginald Nash Jr. Their performance demonstrated teamwork, knowledge, and dedication to excellence. These students will now represent the Vicksburg-Warren Career Technical Center at the State SkillsUSA Competition, and the district is extremely proud of the way they have represented their school, their peers, and the broader Vicksburg-Warren community. Their success reflects the continued impact of high-quality Career and Technical Education programs that prepare students for college, careers, and life beyond graduation.
