AOI has been successfully recertified as a Leader in Me Lighthouse School as of July 30, 2021.  

The Academy of Innovation is proud to be part of a Leader In Me district where students are empowered.  Our Leader In Me journey started in the fall of 2016, and on March 8, 2019, we were certified as one of the first middle schools to become a Lighthouse School world-wide , and actually the first in the Mississippi, Tennessee region.  The Vicksburg Post captured our celebration and shared it.  To read the article, click this link to the article, ¨AOI is first LIM Lighthouse Middle School in the state¨.
