  • The Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 (ESSA) Section 1111(h)(2)(B)(ii); 34 C.F.R. § 200.31(d)(2)) requires each school district that receives Title I funding to produce annual report cards for the district and each of its school. The report card is required to provide information about the professional qualifications of teachers, students assessment results, achievement data by specific subgroups, student absenteeism, discipline, advanced coursework, college/university enrollment, and student participation rates.

ESSA also requires each district to disseminate report cards to parents and community stakeholders. The Mississippi Succeeds Report Cards have been developed to meet ESSA requirements.   The report cards are available in a printable format and as an interactive online tool.
