  • ESEA REPORT CARDS

The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (amended 2015) (ESEA) Section 1111(h)(2)(B)(ii); 34 C.F.R. § 200.31(d)(2)) requires each local education agency that receives Title I funding to produce annual report cards and disseminate them to parents and community stakeholders.

The Mississippi Succeeds Report Card has been developed in response to ESEA requirements. Detailed report cards are available as an interactive online tool that provides specific information about the professional qualifications of teachers, students' assessment results, achievement data for specific subgroups, student absenteeism, discipline, advanced coursework, college/university enrollment, and student participation rates on statewide assessments.

Provided below are links to the Vicksburg Warren School District and each of its school’s 2018-2019 summary report card.

For more detailed information and previous report cards, you may access the interactive online tool for the  Mississippi Succeeds Report Card by clicking here or selecting the link embedded at the top of each report that can be accessed below.

EQUAL EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES Every pupil of the district will have equal educational opportunities regardless of race, color, creed, sex, disability, religion, national origin, or marital status. No student shall be excluded on such basis from participating in or having access to any course offerings, athletics, counseling, employment assistance, and extra-curricular activities. As provided under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, no person in the U.S. shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance. The Mississippi Public School Accountability Standard for this policy is standard 1. HARASSMENT PROHIBITED This school district affirms employee protection provided under Title VII, and therefore "shall not tolerate verbal or physical conduct by any employee, male or female, which harasses, disrupts, or interferes with another's work performance or which creates an intimidating, offensive, or hostile environment." Further, this school district prohibits sexual harassment of or by any student. This policy applies to conduct during and relating to school and school-sponsored activities. Sexual harassment is inappropriate behavior and offensive. Any student who engages in the sexual harassment of anyone in the school setting may be subject to disciplinary action up to and including expulsion.
