Ms. Jasmine Island

Jasmine Island is a fifth grade ELA teacher at Warrenton Elementary. This is Ms. Island fifth year teaching at Warrenton, but she has been teaching for seven years. She has a Specialist Degree from Alcorn State University. She is the proud mother of a daughter named Hannah. When asked What is rewarding about her job? Ms. Island said, "When you see a child who works really hard, succeed at something."

Miss Zaliyah Williams

Zaliyah Williams is a sixth grader at Warrenton Elementary. She is in Mrs.Wilson homeroom class, where her favorite subject is reading. Some of her hobbies include reading, dancing, playing with her brother, and going to the movies with her friends. Zaliyah wants to become a doctor when she grows up. When asked what makes a leader Zaliyah said "Always doing what's right because that what is expected out of you."

    • Students can be dropped off at car riders starting at 7:10 a.m. 

    • Tardy Bell rings at 7:55. Students must be check in at the office after 8:00 am! 

    • NO CHECKOUTS after 2:20 pm! 

    • Parents MUST COME INTO THE OFFICE TO CHECK STUDENTS OUT!!

  •  Title 1: 
    Our school receives federal funds for Title 1 programs that are part of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA), as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015. Title One is a program that is designed ensure that children have a fair , equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high quality education. Money from Title One is used for parental involvement, improve instruction, instructional supplies, and technology for the classrooms.
